1997

Foundation of Berger EDV Service GbR in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.

1997

2000

With the emergence of edataprocessing GmbH from Berger EDV-Service GbR, the company moves to the former site of the Nordstern coal mine in Gelsenkirchen. The completely renovated wash pit of the colliery becomes company headquarters.

2002

With the expansion of its scope of business, the company is renamed: now gathered under the umbrella of edataunited GmbH are its subsidiaries:

Relocation to a new building with 1,800 m² of functional space at company headquarters in Gelsenkirchen. Integration of AKS Technology GmbH from Bochum (system house) in the same year. The number of employees in the group of companies reaches more than 100.

2004

We educate IT specialists in the fields of system integration and application development according to the specifications of the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK). We ensure that trainees get in-depth insight into the content of their specialist field and a comprehensive overview of the activities of the entire group. This exposes them to the flexibility they will need in their future professional environment.

The team is enhanced by the arrival of consultants Björn Koschel and Stephan Lochner, and the fields of activity offered are extended into IT topics in the aviation industry.

The group celebrates its 10th anniversary.

Expansion of the production area of Limego to 1800 m²

Limego GmbH is founded.

The edata Group receives FSC certification.
